Dear PPSCF Members and Friends,

Wow! I can't believe how fast last year passed by!  I hope you all had a fantastic holiday!  2008 is going to be a blast with all the fantastic speakers coming to our guild to educate and enlighten us with their areas of expertise.  This month's special guest is Curtis Tackett.  For over 35 years, Curtis has worked within the photography field.  A winner of many prestigious industry awards, he will be sharing some of his digital knowledge with us.  Curtis has probably had the most influence in converting film based studios into digital- not only in Florida, but in many other states as well. Come enjoy his knowledge, expertise and presentation in helping our businesses properly set up and refine our "digital world" so we can yield high quality and predictable results with our images- whether printed in house or at an outside lab.

Our meeting this month is on Tuesday January 15th.  Dinner will be served at 6:30 and the program will begin at 7:30.

Please remember to bring a print to submit for the People's Choice, our monthly "Play or Pay" print competition.  8 x 10 or smaller print meets the size requirement.  First prize receives next month's door fee waived for the general meeting.  If you choose to "PAY" (not bringing a print for competition) you'll be requested to contribute $2.00 towards PPSCF's Harry & RUth Langdon Scholarship, which is a worthy cause and an excellent chance to attend Florida School this year.

Some come out for a night of good food, great education and a chance to become better friends with a great group of very talented photographers!
