Brenda Estes
“Weddings: Make it Easy…Make it FUN!!”

Brenda will discuss the changing environment of Weddings, and how they (through necessity) try to put some sanity back in their lives by making the whole wedding process easier and more fun!
Brenda Estes, one half of the photography team of Steve & Brenda Estes, Orange Park, Florida, is a wedding & portrait photographer whose work over the past few years has a lot of people taking notice, as evidenced by the numerous awards she has recently acquired from her local guild, state-wide, as well as nationally.

One of Florida’s “Top Ten Photographers” in 2003, Brenda was also awarded two of the top five Albums in the prestigious Loan Collection by the Professional Photographers of America in 2003. She and husband, Steve, were also awarded another Loan Collection album in 2004. They also got another PPA Loan album this year (2005).

Her Wedding (Social Function) Albums have also taken First Place and Best of Show in 2002 and 2003 at the FPP convention in Orlando, with her 2003 Album submission scoring a “100”. Another album received distinguished recognition this year (2004) for both Brenda and Steve in the multi-maker social function category.

Other recent awards and recognitions include: Kodak Gallery Award 2003, Fuji Masterpiece Award 2002, North Florida Photographer of the Year 2002, and the Majorie Sharpe Award 2003.

Brenda, who was one of the first photographers in the Northeast Florida area to transition over to the world of digital, now excels in the area of digital retouching and digital album design.

She has served on the Board of Directors for the past four years for the Professional Photographers Society of North Florida (PPSNF), and as Vice President – Programs for the past two years. She and Steve are both involved in PPSNF’s mentoring programs and charity events.
