Dear PPSCF Members;
Our PPSCF General meeting this month is on Tuesday June 21, featuring Julie Hughes and her program “Making the Baby Business Boom”, featuring marketing, photography, presentation and sales, and includes many fresh ideas to bring dollars into your photo business.
Please RSVP for this meeting no later than this Monday, June 20, if you're not on the standing RSVP list. RSVP's go to PPSCF's Hospitality Chairperson Mike Gibson.
This month, we will have Geisha Girls and Chippendales serving Steak and other delicacies. JUST KIDDING! We will have good food and conversation, door prizes and the rare opportunity to become better friends, photographers, and business people. Please don't miss this meeting.
The cost to attend is $10 per member (in good standing) and $10 for each guest of members. This is considered a “program fee” and it covers many costs above and beyond the food. PPSCF covers the reasonable expenses of the speakers we host, as well as rent on our meeting space, projector rentals and other expenses that we photographers understand all too well.
One more thing - Remember to bring a print to submit for "The Peoples Choice", our monthly informal print competition. 8x10 or smaller is great, but if you have something that's larger than 8x10, don't let that stop you from entering it. If you win, your door fee for next months meeting will be waived. "Pay or Play - it's all about the education." If you don't bring a print for People's Choice, you'll be asked to contribute $2 for PPSCF's Harry & Ruth Langdon Scholarship. The scholarship that you win may just be your own!
Thanks, Mike Gibson
